Flying Area Ortisei-Seceda

Seceda is the highest starting point in the Dolomites. We meet in Ortisei and take the cable car (two trunks) to reach the top of the Seceda Alm at 2500m. Leaving the top station, a majestic panorama opens up. The Seceda offers 3 starting possibilities, depending on the wind direction. After greeting the marmots we take off and if we are lucky we can do some laps together with the eagles. If the wind is from the south we can fly to the Geisler peaks (Fermeda, Sass Rigais). Spectacular mountains that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Because of the big altitude difference (1200 m) the flight takes at least 15 minutes.

We land in Ortisei – Val d’Anna, in front of the Pauli Hut, a well-known restaurant in the middle of the greenery.

Starting Point at 2.520m
